Our Aim
Climate change is happening; we are now conducting damage limitation.
Carbon KISS aims to plant as many trees as possible to help absorb both the excess
CO2 we are putting in the atmosphere and the historical residue which has accumulated
over the last few hundred years. We understand that we must all try to reduce our
current output by reducing fuel expenditure, using renewable, sustainable sources
where possible, recycling and cutting down on our energy consumption.
However in addition to tree planting being a way of offsetting our remaining unavoidable
carbon expenditure, it is vital as a way of reabsorbing the dangerously high levels
in our atmosphere today as a result of decades of unrestrained pollution. We’ve
all enjoyed the benefits of our technological advancements over the years as did
our predecessors, however we are now in a “Carbon Credit Crunch” where the bill
must be paid. We assumed the mega tonnes of CO2 would just disappear in the vastness
of the planet, we now realise just how small and delicate the Earth is. We have
upset the balance and need to reclaim the excess carbon dioxide to limit the potential
damages.
So when you offset today’s unavoidable CO2 emissions, consider an extra “Minimum
Payment” to offset footprints of years gone by, for the sake of all our children.
