We Believe…

There are hundreds of ways we can offset the carbon we produce through our everyday activities, from helping third world projects to buying carbon credits. We believe in the KISS principle, - Keeping It Simple Succeeds.

The Problem…

Over the last hundred years or more we have been burning carbon based fuels. Burning these releases all the trapped carbon within the fuels and it then forms CO2, Carbon Dioxide which is a primary greenhouse gas.

Latest scientific research shows that the oceans have been soaking up vast quantities of CO2 and this could have dire consequences on marine life and critical food chains in the oceans.

CO2 in the atmosphere is rapidly increasing, trapping heat which is changing the world we live in now and for many years to come! What a legacy we are leaving our descendants, “Sorry kids we broke the planet and failed to act in time to fix it”. Land clearing and deforestation simply compounds the problem.

A Solution…

Mother Nature has an efficient way of extracting the carbon from the atmosphere which has worked for millions of years and is partly responsible for creating a stable environment in the first place. Plant life and especially trees, are the lungs of the planet. We at Carbon KISS believe that simply purchasing credits which can be sold to a carbon producer to financially offset carbon production is not the answer. We need to reverse the carbon saturation in our atmosphere by trapping it in a solid form so it can be stored or processed without harming the planet.

So to KISS that carbon goodbye, we need to plant more trees to redress the balance. It may be too late already but the least we can do is try to minimise the environmental disaster we are leaving our grandchildren to deal with.
